Thanks.

Dad met with the surgeon last week. Seems the cancer has spread through his intestine and his liver, so surgery won't help. Of course he was happy to be avoiding surgery, but I don't exactly think it's good news. He'll be meeting again with the oncologist to set up a chemotherapy schedule. He is doing well right now. I hope that continues.

*hugs* It seems like so many people have loved ones getting cancer lately. Makes me sad. Hopefully the chemo will work.

So sorry to hear that Pam. I hope the best for your father.

I had some comments on my blog about my BIL and SIL and their attitude about my FIL dying of cancer back in 1999. They still think he could have survived it because they really think he died of starvation because the chemo burnt his throat. I can't convince them otherwise. It's really sad, because they blame my other SIL, who took a few months out of her busy life to stay with MIL and help with FIL while he was dying. BIL ordered SIL to force feed dear old dad.

I chickened out by deleting my comments about them in my blog because I really don't want the in-laws to see them accidentally, even though I've never told them about my blog.

Just this past year, I've been finding out just how screwed up they really are. It's been a year or so of revelation.

Anyway, I hope the best for your father.

{{{Hugs}}} and I hope you don't mind my mini rant in the comment section.
